Lounges

Our communal lounges at Elstree Court offer residents a comfortable, welcoming space to relax, socialise or simply enjoy some quiet time away from their bedrooms. They’re designed to feel like a genuine living space, not just a waiting area between activities.

A Space to Relax and Connect

Residents are free to use our lounges however suits them, whether that’s chatting with friends, watching television, or enjoying a quiet moment with a book. The relaxed, homely feel is intentional, helping residents feel settled and genuinely at ease throughout the day.

Our lounges sit close to the dining room and gardens, so residents can easily move between different spaces depending on their mood, whether that’s company, fresh air, or somewhere quieter.

Supporting Everyday Wellbeing

Beyond simple comfort, our lounges also play a role in day-to-day wellbeing, hosting elements of our activities programme, visits from family, and everyday social contact that matters for residents’ mental and emotional health. This is just as valuable for residents on a short-term respite stay as it is for those living with us permanently.

Our team is always close by in these shared spaces, so support is never far away, even during moments that are simply about relaxing and enjoying time with others.
